Of bulls and bears is a comprehensive course aimed at improving business English students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It is designed for upper-intermediate and advanced level students and combines a holistic approach to reading business texts with a thorough treatment of business jargon and fixed expressions. Ellen Van Praet is a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University. She works at the Department of Language and Communication, where she has been teaching English Business Communication to master students of Multilingual Business Communication for more than 12 years.
Astrid Vandendaele teaches Economic English to bachelor students of Economics and English Business Communication to master students of Multilingual Business Communication at the Department of Language and Communication of Ghent University. She also teaches Business English and Academic English at the Ghent University Language Centre.
